Two experts on Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) – Ted Cohen, MS, FACCE, and Matt Baretich, PE, PhD – just authored two important pieces on how data and data management in a CMMS when used properly can help an HTM department be successful.
The first is their newly published AAMI book, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for Healthcare Technology Management, 3rd Edition which discusses critical topics such as proper CMMS setup, generating meaningful data, and ways to perform better equipment maintenance. Available through the AAMI online store this book includes examples from EQ2’s HEMS CMMS.
