The move co-locates EQ2 with parent company AMT Datasouth’s operations center leading to several good outcomes for both companies.

EQ2 – a leader in hospital computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), successfully demonstrated its HEMS® software connectivity and interoperability at the IHE (Integrating The Healthcare Enterprise) Connectathon in Cleveland, OH January 25 – 29, 2016. For the second consecutive year HEMS was successfully tested with a number of medical device equipment vendors during real-time integration testing. And, like last year, EQ2 HEMS was the only CMMS vendor to achieve tested IHE PCD interoperability at the Connectathon.
EQ2’s visionary leader and CTO Vishal Malhotra provided Technation (MD Publishing) readers with lots of invaluable information to help them with CMMS purchase and implementation decisions.
He also talked about how a good CMMS integrates with, connects to, and communicates with the many other systems and smart devices that a modern hospital relies on.

In 2015, EQ2 was the only hospital CMMS vendor among the 100 vendors participating in the Connectathon and successfully connected to, and tested with, smart products from 15 medical equipment vendors.
